Great health does not mean bland, boring ‘rabbit’ food!
In-fact, great health means flavour, personality, a variety of colour and texture. That is why I recommend the use of lots of the most healthy foods available to us! HERBS and SPICES.
Here is why: Their nutrient profile is especially robust and important for anyone who is struggling with a chronic illness or symptom. It’s a wonderful gift that these foods also taste so good and can make a simple meal into a gourmet masterpiece!
For example : My favourites are oregano, thyme, rosemary, and sage (think roast lamb 🙂 YUM marinated in this spice mix ) together have antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties that can help with hundreds of health issues, food allergies, ear infections, sinusitis, diverticulitis, vertigo, ringworm, eye infections, respiratory infections, rashes, abdominal pain, dizziness, fatigue, blisters, excess mucus, neuralgia, flatulence, itching, nausea, fluid retention, and gum infections.
Not only do these aromatic herbs offer you and your loved ones support for hundreds of health challenges, they also help to bring calm and peace when you are feeling overstimulated, stressed out, and emotionally exhausted. They also help us to adapt along with the quickly changing world we are living in today, reminding us where we’ve come from and who we can still become.
REMEMBER: Food feeds the soul 😆
TIP: Use Ghee as your favourite cooking ‘oil’. It activates the healing elements of the herbs and spices, plus it tastes great and carries vitamins and minerals.
Make sure to stock up your pantry with a variety of good quality herbs and spices and experiment to satisfy your taste buds, digestion, blood stream and LOVE of great food.
